Chadds Ford, PA - IKS will be developing a new web application specifically for maintaining and establishing Post Maintence Test procedures.  Until this point, there is not a uniform industry standard for this procedure.

Post Maintenance Testing is specifically designed to ensure equipment has been restored to normal working order after maintenance has been performed.  Using already defined procedures, engineers will be in charge of following up Preventative Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) with a post maintenance test.  The purpose of the PMT Manager application is to pull information from a repository of Test Guides and assemble a Post Maintenance Test for use by the system engineers.  The application will allow users to create and modify the current PMT procedures, and assemble PMT instances to be used.

PMT Test Guide Repository - Test Guides are the root of all PMT Test Code procedures.  Users will be able to select a test guide, and then subsequently find a system component of which to show the PMT Test Code procedures.  The PMT Manager application will allow for users to browse, create and modify PMT Test Guides and subsequent Test Code procedures.

PMT Plan Creation – Users will be able to create an instance of a PMT Plan in this feature of the application.  Using the available Test Guide structure preloaded onto the system, users can associate Test Code procedures to available Work Orders provided by the Work Management System.  In this module, users will start with a Work Order and then create and configure a PMT Plan.  These PMT Plans will be stored as they are created and will not be affected by changes made to the Test Guide Repository.

Reporting – Users will have the ability to create a printable version of the PMT Plans that have been created, which will provide elements such as signature lines for Test Code procedure check-offs.

This product will be completed by the end of February, 2006.  Look for more updates in the near future.
