Insert Key Solutions (IKS) Equipment Reliability Software products, ProgramIQ and ERDashboard has recently been implemented by Southern Nuclear. The software implementation will support the component health reporting for Southern Nuclear’s nuclear power plants located in Georgia and Alabama. ERDashboard provides an easy access portal to other IKS products, IQReview and PAM Manager already in use by the company. Installation of these products will permit engineers at Southern Nuclear to gather and share equipment health information. Engineers will be able address critical processes of equipment reliability (AP-913) while improving equipment reliability. These Equipment Reliability (ER) tools will improve communication, identify process gaps and support proactive solutions. At the conclusion of a recent training session, Tim Pettibone, Southern Nuclear’s business project manager stated, “Three people shook my hand at the end of the day and said that they thought this was a good job and it would make their life easier.” ProgramIQ is a web-based software application that is designed to automate the process for determining, documenting and reporting overall Program Health at individual sites as well as across an entire fleet. The software is configured to meet particular reporting needs as determined by Management and the Plant Health Committee. ProgramIQ is designed to integrate and organize data from many supporting and monitoring systems. ERDashboard is a web-based, centralized application that provides a single interface to measure Equipment Reliability program performance. Acting as a primary portal, ERDashboard is a launching point for supporting applications facilitates standard communication and provides detailed information for specific ER functions.
