Juno Beach, Florida – Florida Power & Light (FPL) has successfully implemented The Insert Key Solutions (IKS) Equipment Reliability Automation Software products, SystemIQ, ProgramIQ, and ERDashboard.   The software implementation is in support of the System and Program Health Reporting at FPL’s two Florida Nuclear Plants; Turkey Point and St. Lucie and was first used in support of their 2^nd Quarter 2007 health reporting period.  The single most important aspect of the new health reporting platform is increased integration of Equipment Reliability (AP-913) processes at FPL.

The installation of SystemIQ, ProgramIQ, and ERDashboard expands upon system health reporting and addresses added critical processes of ER (AP-913) resulting in improved equipment reliability.  The use of this powerful web based ER tool suite has filled process gaps, improved communications, and removed ‘silos’ of data.  “The increased use of powerful web based and integrated tools for our daily work results in improved station performance and is an exciting step forward for the Nuclear Division”, states Ash Pell of FPL. 

SystemIQ and ProgramIQ are web-based software applications that are designed to automate the process of determining, documenting, and reporting the overall System Health and Program Health at a site and across an enterprise.  These applications integrate and organize data from many supporting systems including the CMMS, the Condition Reporting (CRs) database, Performance Monitoring Systems, etc.  Outputs are designed for management and Plant Health Committee decision making.

ERDashboard is a web-based, centralized application that provides a single interface for measuring Equipment Reliability (ER) program performance.  It supports corporate and plant uses and integrates information across an Enterprise of sites.  The application helps standardize communication and acts as a launching point into supporting applications.  Users can drill down into supporting applications to view detailed information and to perform specific ER functions.
